Last week, Disney sold its old Vista Way apartment complex to Denver-based Grand Peaks for $90 million. Orlando Business Journal was the first to report the news. Vista Way is a 468 unit property that spans across four parcels and the location is near State Road 535 and Interstate 4. Vista Way was used by Disney for its college and international program housing.
Grand Peaks will rename Vista Way to Emerald Grove (which ironically sounds like a Disney name). Renovations should happen across the units with the goal of selling units to families starting this summer.
Vista Way now known as Emerald Grove boasts two resort-style swimming pools, two clubhouses, a fitness center, and more
Disney is moving away from its previous college program properties like Patterson Court because they opened a new complex for its college program and international program participants called Flamingo Crossings.
