Disney Reveals New Details for Frozen Kingdom at Tokyo DisneySea

Frozen Kingdom will open as part of Fantasy Springs on June 6 at Tokyo DisneySea.

Tokyo DisneySea is opening a brand new land this summer. Fantasy Springs will encompass the stories of Peter Pan, Tangled, and Frozen. The land will also feature a hotel.

Frozen Kingdom will feature Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey, an attraction that will retell the story of Frozen. The attraction begins with Grand Pabbie, the leader of the trolls, retelling the tale we have all come to love. Soon you’ll be whisked away on a journey through Anna and Elsa’s memories, accompanied by songs from the film including, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” “For the First Time in Forever,” “Love Is an Open Door” and “Let It Go.” The story will build to Anna turning into ice in an attempt to save Elsa from Hans.

This will be a brand-new Frozen attraction and won’t be a clone of Frozen Ever After. It sounds like it has the potential to be the best Frozen attraction in the world as well. It will be six and a half minutes long and a water ride.

Frozen Kingdom will also feature two dining options, the Royal Banquet of Arendelle and Oaken’s OK Foods. The Royal Banquet of Arendelle will be a recreation of Anna and Elsa’s castle. I’m betting this restaurant will be a large-scale version of Arendelle which is featured on the Disney Wish (cruise ship). The main difference will be the fact it’s counter service and it will fit 570 guests.

Guests at the Royal Banquet Hall will have the option to get the Arendelle Royal Set which will feature appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

The other dining location will be Oaken’s OK Foods, run by you guessed it Oaken, and here, guests can munch on “Oaken’s Yoo-Hoo Bread (Cardamom & Meat),” a variation on the cardamom rolls, a Scandinavian specialty. This fluffy, cardamom bread is filled with Scandinavian-style spiced meat and accented with lingonberry jam, making it the perfect snack to eat on the go.

Frozen Kingdom, a section of Fantasy Springs, will open at Tokyo DisneySea on June 6.
