Today at the D23 Expo. Disney announced the three new Circle-Vision films officially.
O’Canada will be replaced by Canada Far and Wide. The new film will debut in January 2020 at the Canada pavilion. It will be a 360-degree Circle-Vision film and it will have new scenes and a new story. I would say this was a huge missed opportunity to bring back Martin Short or even bring Keanu Reeves to play Duke Caboom in a new Canada film.
The China pavilion will also be receiving a new Circle-Vision 360 film. It will be a spectacular journey across the country in a seamless 360 format. The film is called Wondrous China.
The France pavilion will get a second Circle-Vision film that will join the rotation along with Impressions de France. That’s the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along directed by Don Hahn. That will debut in January 2020. Disney promises a twist on the tale as old as time.
We got three new films coming to the World Showcase. All of them have potential to be something. That’s also the beauty of Epcot. The littlest things matter, down to the Circle-Vision films.
