The American Adventure is about to receive some classic barbecue. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue is coming to Epcot this winter. The new food spot will be a quick service, casual dining experience. There will be dishes inspired by barbecue all around the United States and custom craft brews.
There will be sandwiches, platters, and plant-based options. Menu options include Texas beef brisket sandwich with house-made spicy mop sauce on garlic toast, South Carolina smoked sausage sandwich with tangy mustard sauce and caramelized onions, and other platters.
Platter options include Kansas City smoked chicken, Memphis dry-rub pork ribs, and North Carolina chopped smoked pork butt. You can also get all three items in one mega platter. If you’re in a mood for a salad Regal Eagle has a Power Greens Salad with chilled pulled chicken, fresh citrus, and a citrus vinaigrette. Regal Eagle also includes burgers like the all-American burger, a grilled burger topped with BBQ pork and a fried onion ring or the plant-based BBQ burger featuring a plant-based patty topped with BBQ jackfruit served on vegan garlic toast.
Regal Eagle will also have a variety of barbecue sauces. This includes a spicy mop sauce, sweet BBQ, tangy mustard, and a vinegar-based sauce. This barbecue stop will also come with unique sides like french fries, beer-battered onion rings, mac and cheese, baked beans with burnt ends, house-made pickles, and creamy slaw. Sides that you would typically see at any barbecue restaurant.
Also, it wouldn’t be a Disney restaurant without dessert. Banana pudding, a s’ mores brownie, and a cup of fresh watermelon garnished with torn mint will be Regal Eagle’s main desserts.
The beverage offerings will include a selection of beer and cider from around the country. Regional cocktails with and without alcohol will be available, specialty wine from the west coast, and Coca-Cola fountain beverages will be available to drink.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse will also feature a brand new outdoor seating area. The new dining spot replaces Liberty Inn, which was a quick-service restaurant serving hamburger, nuggets, and other American food offerings. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue will open this winter at The American Adventure at Epcot.
