Disney confirmed today that the long rumored Disney Quest at Disney Springs will be closing on July 3, 2017. For those who have never been to Disney Quest, which opened in 1998, it is a paid indoor theme park with interactive games and arcades. It has been long neglected of any updates for years after the failed expansion of Disney Quest to multiple cities throughout the United States.
Replacing Disney Quest will be The NBA Experience which was originally announced June 3, 2015. However, a location for The NBA Experience was never revealed officially until today. Disney calls it “a one-of-a-kind basketball-themed experience featuring hands-on activities that put guests of all ages right in the middle of NBA game action.” It will also a restaurant and store.
