Disney Is Rebranding D23 Expo to “D23 — The Ultimate Disney Fan Event”
Disney has huge plans for D23 2024.
D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will take place from August 9 to 11, 2024 in Anaheim, California. Disney is promising that next year’s D23 will be unlike anything we’ve ever experienced before. Thus the rebranding to just D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
D23 will have spectacular shows, span multiple venues, and will have multiple days of entertainment from every aspect of Disney.
The official kickoff celebration for D23 2024 will take place at Disneyland Resort on August 8. More details will be revealed about the kickoff event as we get closer to the event. D23 will also be hosting a special D23 Day at Angel Stadium where fans can attend the Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets on August 4. Both the D23 Day at Angel Stadium and the D23 Kickoff Celebration at Disneyland will be separate ticketed events.
The Anaheim Convention Center will be the day host of D23 with shopping, exhibits, panels, presentations, and more. Then at night, D23 will shift into the much bigger Honda Center to do the bigger presentations.
Tickets for D23 will go on sale in Spring 2024. However, it is unclear whether your D23 ticket will include access to both the events at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center, or if there may be some pricing tiers at play. Ideally, a ticket to D23 will grant you access to both.
