Both Stages Gone For Fast and Furious Coaster At Universal Studios Hollywood
Welcome back to another Universal Studios Hollywood update where there have been tons of changes! Major progress on a new roller coaster, a new store, and major progress on the former Starbucks location in CityWalk, and huge progress on a future café, so let’s get right to it.
CityWalk Projects
Over at the former Starbucks location, tarps are up around the whole building.
Meanwhile, over at the former Zen Zone location it looks like a new store Karma and Luck is going to be opening very soon.
From this picture, it looks to be a very expensive jewelry and crystal store. I will be sure to go inside and check it out once the store opens. I am curious about what will be replacing the former Fossil store right next to this location.
New Café
Heading into the park on a busy sold-out day to check in on the projects inside the property. Taking a look at the future new café building, you can see they have stripped all of the façade off and it is all wood paneling at the moment.
Creative Campus
Over at the Creative Campus work is progressing nicely towards an opening for later this year.
Halloween Horror Nights
Progress on The Last of Us house has not changed much since the last time I checked up on it.
Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift Construction
Moving over to Fast and Furious construction, you can see there is a ton of progress here.
Earlier this week there was still half of the Special Effects Stage building up. By Wednesday though, crews completely took down nearly the entire building!
It is incredibly impressive how quickly these large and small projects are going in now and I cannot wait to see the progress by the time Horror Nights starts.
